Melbourne filmmaker, Ryan Gaskett premiered his compelling documentary on the extraordinary life of renowned chainsaw artist, Leigh Conkie, with an almost sold-out screening at ACMI in late 2021. Ten years in the making helped Ryan learn about the film industry, which is his future.

David Hunt explores the artist with an in-depth look into their background; where they came from, the type and work they do, their latest work and where they see the future.
